The crisis in Syria continues
Brutal conflict in Syria has been raging for three years, and shows no sign of slowing down. Since March 2011, the conflict has left more than 10 million people inside Syria in need of emergency humanitarian assistance. About 6.5 million people have been driven from their homes and are now displaced within the war-torn country. The number of Syrians driven from their country has topped 2.5 million, with thousands seeking safety in nearby countries every month.
Men, women and children continue to be murdered. Homes, clinics, hospitals and schools continue to be bombed. The sanctity and honour of Muslims continues to be violated. Families continue to be butchered by militia, illegally detained and tortured. Their wounded continue to die slow deaths and their dead continue to remain unburied. Over 140,000 have died so far and hundreds every day, murdered in cold blood, continue to add to this tally.
iCharity so far…
iCharity has been appealing for funds to help our brothers and sisters since the beginning of the conflict and Alhamdulillah through your generosity, much relief has been administered by feeding the refugees, supplying medical kits, building mobile hospitals, distributing winter supplies, providing shelter and much more.
We need your help to do much more!
We urgently need more funds so that we can provide emergency assistance to many vulnerable people who have left their belongings, homes and livelihoods to escape the devastating war.
Your donation to the Syria Crisis Appeal will help iCharity provide critical emergency relief for families who have been affected by the Syrian conflict. Donations $2 and over are tax deductible.
